Larry SimsLarry Sims finished playing collegiately in 2021. He played for Arkansas-Pine Bluff and Keystone College. Larry is accepting new players for lessons. He is currently coaching with On Deck at the 16U/15U level.

Alex Thurston
Alex is a 4-year starting SS from Valparaiso University. He spent summers playing for the Mat-Su Miners of the Alaskan baseball league and Badlands Big Sticks of the Northwoods league. Alex has been doing private lessons since he was in high school. He is passionate about using his diverse experiences and vast knowledge to teach the younger generations. Alex is accepting new clients and strives to develop his players to reach the next level.

Jeff IsomJeff Isom was drafted in 1993 out of Purdue University by the Pittsburgh Pirates. while at Purdue he was an All-Big Ten selection in 1993 and still is in top ten in many pitching statistics. After pitching seven years in the minors, he transitioned into managing. He has been managing professionally since 2000. Six of those seasons were with the Milwaukee Brewers. Jeff has been awarded Manager of the year three times. As a manager, Jeff has over 1000 professional wins under his belt. In his off seasons he has returned to Lafayette and has worked with the areas youth to develop their skills.

Pat Murtaugh
Pat Murtaugh has worked in Major League Baseball for 35 years as a professional scout. Currently he works for the New York Yankees, where he has been for the past eight seasons. Pat will educate players about what scouts look for and give evaluations of players in our organization. He has seen players of all levels and will be a big asset for On Deck.
